What I Read in 2017

You asked for it, here it is. The list of books I read this year. I linked each one to its review (if I gave it one) and I also gave each book a rating from 1-5 based on how much I liked it and how useful I think the knowledge inside of the pages was. My goal this year was to read a book a week, but as you can see… I came up short by about 10 books. I’m gonna give it another shot in 2018!

  1. I’m always slightly envious of people who can just sit and read. I’m terrible at sitting still, plus I fall asleep a few pages in. When I finish my masters I’ll try and make an effort. I only read True Crime, plus the odd different genre. Impressive list.

  2. Wow. You read a lot. I’ve read the road before. It was pretty good. I am interested in reading the Growing Up Social though. It sounds really interesting.

  3. You sure read a lot this past year! I hardly read any books at all these days. I just find it hard to find the time to sit still with a book. And reading is one of those things that I can’t do while multitasking! You really take me back to my younger years, when I bought 1-2 books every week. There was a long time when I read mainly non-fiction books. I read mainly the type of books you’re reading now.

  4. I like making lists like this, but for the past two years, it totally slipped my mind due to working on my PhD. I need to get back into it!

  5. Lots of good books here; I recently read Growing Up Social. Another you might want to add to your list From Good to Great! It is a game changer:)

  6. What an impressive list you have provided. Some of which I think I will look into deeper to see if I want to read them. I have so many books and I believe this year will prove to be the most read year yet.

  7. I’m an avid reader, but you have surpassed my list by far. I read a book a month, on occasions, two. Looks like you have read some good titles that I may check out. Thanks
